Why isn’t the whole 2012 thing in the national media such as news stations as CNN, or NBC, or CNN?

enlightenment 2012

Now I’m not a full believer in this 2012 ordeal but I think since there has been NO scientific evidence of anything catastrophic to happen, It is known to be the switch of ages and become aquarious. Now to my knowledge, this is suppose to be an age of enlightenment. This could possibly mean that over this next age of 5,000 or some years that the human brain could develop more and we can be able to find cures to diseases and cancers and possibly find a new way not to rely on fuel as a source of energy. As far as I’ve heard, there is no astronomer nor scientist that thinks anything is going to happen that is drastic. But don’t you think this should be on CNN, NBC, or ABC news? Unless this thing is just some overhyped hysteria that was formed over the internet???

  1. Some news stations prefer to remain respected. If anything happens on 2012 it will be because of the self-fulfilling prophecy of the maniacs who believe it. On your other note, the human brain is perfectly capable as it is to guide us to cures to diseases.

  2. No. Putting it on the news will inform more people about this, and cause them to panic.
It would be making a situation out of something that isnt true.

This entire thing is absolute bull. Its not going to happen.

I’ve seen a few things on the news channels about it, but they are usually just interest pieces. Problem is, no one has any proof one way or the other. They can report the sources of the info (the Mayans, the Hopi, the oracle of Delphi, etc.) and there are a few scientists who are predicting a polar shift for that approximate time, but the truth is no one really know what, if anything, is going to happen. To continue reporting on something we have no facts for would be speculation, not news.

  4. It looks like someone has been sniffing the paint thinner again.

  5. I’m sure that there are a lot of scientists and intellectuals are paying attention to this, but do you honestly think that it is a good idea to spread worldwide panic by putting these type of things in the news?

Self fulfilling prophecy planners put it 2047 as the maximum
