What Will Happen In 2012 That’s Of Any Religious Significance?
I hear about the return of christ in 2012 and the rapture in 2010. Have you heard about that as well? What proof do those people who say those things have?

I’m pretty sure it has some meaning to it, but the world isn’t going to end though for it says in the bible that no man knows the hour only GOD himself.
I’ve heard and I’ve denied the validity of 2012. You might want to read the post “All Say 2012 & SCIENCE PROVES GOD.” As for the “rapture” of which you speak, if it is the same being taught by myriad denominations, there is no such thing: proven by God’s Word: also a post at Truth Seekers and Speakers.

Don’t get excited about dates and times. Just make sure you are ready everyday to go to the wedding supper of the lamb. That’s all that really counts. Putting dates on things gets people in trouble. I’m not sure of exactly who is saying that but my bible doesn’t say that, so be careful.
that’s a lot of hype. 2012 will probably bring about nothing. Even the Mayans of today are saying that is false- and being blown out of proportion. And no one knows the hour or day of the rapturing of the Church. certainly not 2010-. Does the church look prepared to go? no way. inner-battles, misteachings, racism etc…
People will be born. People will die. People will receive authorized baptism in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy ghost in the proper manner (immersion). These are all very important things.
the whole 2012 thing has to do with a Mayan belief, from my understanding of it however, the movie completely manupliates it and changes it to something its not.
Where did you hear that Christ was coming in 2012? Where is there any evidence of the Rapture in 2010?
There is no evidence or proof of any kind to predict either.
the world could end anyday. russia, china and america could push the button and we’ll know nothing about it.
science is going to kill us before god decides what to do.
They have no proof. Only God Himself knows when He will destroy the earth with fire.
