<p>Technically, a headache, or cephalalgia, is a symptom of a number of different conditions of the head and sometimes the neck too. <p>Coital headaches, also called coital cephalalgia or sexual headaches, is a rare, but painful form of headache that starts in the nape of the neck during sexual intercourse, but before climax. It can occur in all conditions where climax is the expected result. The pain can move to behind the eyes and can then become even worse. Typically the pain will last from a few minutes to an hour or so, but it has been known to last for days in the worst cases.</p>
<p>It is surprising to many to discover that men are three times more likely to experience coital headaches than women and the age groups most at risk are those between 20 and 25 and 30 and 44. Doctors do not really knows why this should be. Coital headaches afflict about one percent of the population, although this number could be a lot higher because of people being embarrassed to discuss it. </p>
<p>Coital headaches are benign, meaning that they have no long-term ill effects, as far as we know. It seems that people taking sexual stimulants, like Viagara, are about 10% more at risk to a bout of coital headache. In fact, besides the obvious, temporary pain, the worst effects of coital headaches are differing levels of dizziness, confusion and stiffness of neck.</p>
<p>However, it is still worth while visiting a doctor though, especially in the beginning, just to exclude the more severe causes of headaches, such as brain tumours and blood clots. However, the doctor can do rather little to help by way of treatment. He could suggest a complete abstention from any form of sexual activity for a period varying from days to weeks or he may recommend trying taking medication some time before sexual foreplay commences.</p>
<p>Some of the headache medications that may be taken are <i>indomethacin, imitrex, zomig</i> and <i>propranolol</i>, although if the headaches continue, your doctor could recommend daily preventive medication. People suffering from frequent coital headaches may experience a positive response to migraine preventive medications, such as <i>beta blockers</i> or <i>verapamil</i>. Non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) such as <i>ibuprofen</i> may similarly be helpful. Coital headaches and migraines are also more likely to occur if a person is in poor physical shape.</p>
<p>However, the treatment for coital headaches for a lot of people can be as simple as bringing your weight up or down to the normal weight for your size. Coital headaches can also be cured in some sufferers by an increased level of exercise, although this could bring on exertion headaches in a few cases.</p>
<p>Now the good news is that most headaches related to sexual activities are not at all serious in nature. In fact, research actually states that orgasm can relieve headaches and even migraine in some cases. This means that for some adults, refusing sex may actually be the cause of their headache in the first place.</p>

However, some headaches, like migraines, for example, can create even more problems than just a headache. These problems could be nausea, sensitivity to light and a throbbing pain in the head. The most common theory is that a change in the blood flow within the brain is one of the triggers that causes migraine headaches. <p>Many medical professionals think that neuropeptides ease the muscle that surrounds the cranial blood vessels. This relaxation causes the blood vessels to dilate. The relaxed blood vessels increase the flow of blood and other cranial fluid to the brain. This increase in fluids is thought to be the cause of migraine headaches.</p>

<p>Another theory as to the causes of  migraine headaches has been associated with the genetics of inheritance. These theories say that a child of migraine sufferers will have a 50% chance of getting migraine headaches too. </p>
<p>The chances of having migraine headaches becomes even greater if both parents are   sufferers from this painful sort of headache. If both parents are known to have frequent migraine headaches the chances of the child inheriting migraine headache symptoms is about 70%. </p>
<p>Even though some professionals are persuaded that inheritance plays a big part in migraine headaches, the genes that are thought to be the causes of migraine headaches have not been identified or even isolated yet. Since taking these substances can only provide temporary help, it is better to provide the tools to build a healthy lifestyle, which can help that person to cope better with their stress headaches.</p>
<p><b>Physical therapy</b> tries using biofeedback responses. People, who experience stress headaches, are taught to recognize and reduce the amount of physical tension in their bodies. The treatments that are recommended for this method are muscle relaxation, deep breathing, yoga and other self-relaxation techniques. It is easy to understand what effect these measures have on sufferers of stress headaches, as these methods relax and calm the body. </p>
<p>The various techniques of therapy that were mentioned above are all interrelated. Using all three of these therapies, including headache medication, will provide the sufferer with a form of relief that can work for them for the rest of their lives and not just the short period when they are suffering from a stress headache.</p>

<p>Chakras, just like organs, each serve a specific role. The word chakra is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning wheel.  The throat chakra focuses on our ability to communicate.</p>
<p>Our ability to communication is most often seen as an exchange that flows between two distinct beings.  Words are a common means of communication, but we are not limited to this single form. We have other means of communication like sign language that uses words, symbols and gestures to convey our message.</p>
<p>Looking beyond words we use more than the symbols of words to get across our message.  There is the look in our eyes, the way we move physically, and the tilt of our mouth.  We use tone and volume, even silence.</p>
<p>Just the same as we use our entire body to speak for us, the throat chakra acts as a conduit for other aspects of the chakra system.  When we communicate we bring in our thoughts, views, feelings, and beliefs that when combined give life to our words.</p>
<p>There is another aspect of the throat chakra that is called the inner voice.  This ability connects us body, mind and spirit. Our inner voice is the conduit to connect to our own emotions, feelings, perceptions, knowledge and our higher spiritual powers.</p>
<p>Another part of the throat chakra is telepathy.  While this name is often recognized many of us believe we have little or no experience with this ability.  Telepathy does not use the physical means of communication, so there is no evidence of how much we really use this style of communication.</p>
<p>The chakra system holds no mystery, for each chakra is directly related to an aspect of our physical expression of self. <p>We all have dreams. But not all of us have the faith in ourselves, that we can have and live those dreams in our lifetime. Actually, the secret to have such certainty is simple. And the reason why we doubt it so much is also straightforward.</p>
<p>We can now start by asking ourselves the first question..</p>
<p>Why don&#8217;t we do everything we always wanted to do?</p>
<p>Often, our thoughts stop our actions. Sometimes the more we think about it, the less we become committed to accomplish what we initially wanted to do. Because the more we think about it, we come up with more and more reasons for not doing it.</p>
<p>Is it then possible to be sure that we will definitely accomplish what we want to do in our life?</p>
<p>Yes, definitely! For a start, let us look at the power of habits..</p>
<p>If we have to be present at a meeting tomorrow night, we would not be spending too much of time thinking whether we would be able to get there or not. We would not be worried about the possibility of having a car accident and failing to attend the meeting. In fact, when we go to use the toilet, we are unlikely to worry if it might be out of order.</p>
<p>We have so much more sureness about these types of &#8216;normal&#8217; activities we indulge in every day. They are the habits.</p>
<p>But, we doubt our dreams</p>
<p>The interesting part is that there are several things that we are not very sure about. These are the things that we really want to do in our lives &#8211; our Dreams!</p>
<p>So, what is the secret for the assurance that we will realize our dreams?</p>
<p>First: Decide to make it a daily habit!</p>
<p>We can begin with being more assured about our actions to fulfil our desires &#8211; the type of dreams that really nurtures our life.</p>
<p>So, for example, if your dream is to give and contribute to society and giving is a key desire in your life, there is no reason to doubt that it&#8217;s possible for you to contribute to others. It can just become one of your daily habits.</p>
<p>Second: Make is as important (and equally easy) as brushing one&#8217;s teeth.</p>
<p>Making a dream come true can be just like cleaning the teeth. It gives a very uncomfortable feeling if teeth are not brushed for a long time, isn&#8217;t it? Nobody spends hours thinking which brand of toothpaste to use or postpone brushing till there is some specific need to show clean teeth. We feel ill at ease with teeth that are not clean. So we just clean them. It is as simple as that. </p>
<p>Coming back to our example, if giving is so important to us, we have to ask ourselves certain questions: What if giving is in fact of as much importance as brushing our teeth? What if it is making us feel good? What if it is helping to maintain our health?</p>
<p>Irrespective of how much or how little we own right now, we surely can start offering it and sharing it today. As such, no matter how improbable the realisation of dreams might appear, we can start walking towards them today. We can definitely do, if we see it as a crucial issue, a top priority that we should stick to every day! Then we will be uncomfortable if we do not do it. Just like cleaning our teeth.</p>
<p>and Third: Give first, then we will get</p>
<p>When we give first before we actually fully have what we really want &#8211; what we dream of &#8211; we send a very powerful message to ourselves that says, &#8220;there is enough, and more will come&#8221;. It allows us to experience the joy today &#8211; the joy of giving.</p>
<p>If you want to be prosperous, be generous. And then you would be blessed with loads of everything. If you are knowledgeable enough to do so, do not be scared of teaching others. And you will learn more. If you want to share things, share freely. Do not expect anything in return. Just let go. And joy will automatically be returned to you. The simple joy o f giving. </p>
<p>Do not be scared of sharing and giving what you have, for it will not thwart your plans of achieving your purpose, whatever it may be. It may only help you to fulfil your dreams faster. And your journey there will be one of total contentment.</p>
<p>But are not habits very small, when compared to our BIG dreams?</p>
<p>Just do it, don&#8217;t worry about the &#8217;scale&#8217;</p>
<p>Because anything is possible in life. We might start things in a small way. And these small things will always take us to another action, and another. Having certainty in our small actions and executing them one by one always takes us forward. But if we thought it was &#8216;impossible&#8217; to do something now because it just seemed &#8216;too big&#8217;, it will never happen.</p>
<p>The secret to achieve your dreams has always been here, and will always be here. The people who create miracles, inspirations, and the real sense of joy, already know this. They are always using it.</p>
<p>Dreams and miracles are not accidents. We create them through our choices.</p>

<p>The origins of tithing can be found in the Bible, yet many Christians and non-Christians alike, practice some form of tithing today.</p>
<p>Tithe is a traditionally a Christian term that means to contribute one tenth of your income to charity or to your Church as a form of Chrch giving. However it has similarities with practices in other religious cultures. In Islam it is called &#8216;Zakat&#8217;. In India the Sikh religion also provides for such practice called &#8216;Dasvandh&#8217; meaning one-tenth part of income to be devoted for religious purposes. Tenth Master Guru Gobind Singh started this practice. In Classical Indian society the Upanisads and the Bhagavadgita commend &#8216;true alms&#8217; given with a sense of duty in a fit place and at a fit time to a deserving person from whom one expects nothing in return.</p>
<p>The word tithe is derived from the Hebrew word &#8216;asair&#8217;, which means to give the tenth part of something, often of a person&#8217;s income. Today, tithes (or tithing) are normally voluntary and paid in cash. However, there are still European countries that allow the church to mandate tithing and enforce it by law.</p>
<p>Denmark is a case in point where a church tax is mandatory for members of the Church of Denmark. The tax varies in different municipalities. It is mostly about 1% of the taxable income. And in Finland members of state churches have to pay a church tax ranging between 1% and 2.25% of their earnings and the Church taxes are included into the general national taxation process.</p>
<p>However the practice of regular tithes was not established until after Exodus. Tithes were common throughout the ancient Near East, as well as in later Lydia, Arabia, and Carthage.</p>
<p>The Hebrew habit of tithing is recorded in the Bible, the first mention being the gift from Abraham to the Canaanite priest and king Melchizedek (Genesis 14:20). Ancient Arabia, Lydia and Carthage were places where the custom of tithes existed. Tithing was implemented by the early Christian church, and had found mention in councils at Macon in 585 and at Tours in 567. They were granted formal recognition during the time of Pope Adrian I in 787.</p>
<p>Tithing in some Christian churches is controversial because it applies an Old Testament process to a New Testament organisation (the Church). No evidence exists in the New Testament for the tithe to be applied to Christians. Indeed, only Jews living in the promised land were required to pay the tithe in the Old Testament, as it was actually a form of income tax used to support not only the government of Old Testament Israel, but also the temple and the priesthood.</p>
<p>Modern day Tithing</p>
<p>In spite of its origins in the Bible and olden day Christianity, nowadays it is a perfect way to give every time you get something. Giving EVERY time you get things is such a perfectly beautiful form of giving as it allows the giver to feel in fullness something indescribably powerful &#8211; more on that afterwards.</p>
<p>Let us have a little more of history. Malachi 3:10 is the section of the Bible that Christians hold in importance when they deliberate on tithing. Many Christians do tithe to their church as they feel that they are duty bound to do as per the rules of the Bible. Many Churches have all throughout maintained that their members should tithe to the church to help it conduct its activities. The core of giving is its voluntary nature and its delightful experience, without which it does not get its ideal effect &#8211; if in fact you are hoping to create an ideal effect by giving.</p>
<p>Controversy about Tithing</p>
<p>Tithing has often been a controversial subject.The question of should a Christian pay tithe is often raised in many Christian circles.</p>
<p>An article has been published in Wall Street Journal about tithing under the title &#8216;The Backlash Against Tithing&#8217;, in which the writer Suzanne Sataline says, &#8216;As Churches push donations, congregants balk; &#8216;that&#8217;s not the way God works&#8217;.&#8217;</p>
<p>Unfortunately, the potent mix of ideology, power equations, and a narrow perspective, can often give rise to a Jekyll and Hyde situation &#8211; the perfection of giving being lost in the mishmash and mix-up of mysticism. Despite the conflict, tithing is still a complete and amazingly forceful action that anyone can carry on to turn their lives around to come face to face with a more plentiful direction. </p>

<p>Why is Tithing so compelling?</p>
<p>This is indeed a very compelling question because if you just blindly carry on something without any idea of what it indicates, you could be proceeding in the wrong direction.</p>
<p>If more people who regularly tithed knew exactly why tithing works when it is done in the spirit of pure giving, then it would probably unleash a greater desire to give even more. And for those that give irregularly, it could inspire them to give first every time they received.</p>
<p>To analyse the real &#8216;why&#8217; of how routine giving leads to more we have to understand something about Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Physics. The laws of these realms vary a lot from that of our own material or Newtonian world.</p>

<p>The movie paints the picture of a startling world visible from a quantum space. When a line of electrons is fired through a plate with a cut in it onto a wall &#8211; predictably, it would hit the wall straight across the cut in a single line.</p>
<p>If the experiment is conducted by using an energy wave that reacts the way a water wave does, one gets a foreseeable result. As the wave strikes the plate it rebounds off the plate but where there is the opening, a part of the wave goes across through the opening. Coming out of the other side of the opening, the surging water moves out in the pattern of an arc, resulting in a new wave just as in the old laboratory tests done in schools in analysing wave patterns. As the surge of water strikes the wall across, it will have maximum force in the middle straight opposite the opening and will have lesser force all across the wall. This is exactly like the line the electrons make.</p>
<p>If one more cut is made in the plate and a wave sent through, the result would again be foreseeable &#8211; two lesser waves would emerge through the cuts and when these come into contact with each other, they would stop being separate and would give rise to an interference pattern. Many small waves would then strike against the wall opposite producing a stripped effect. All these are normal behavioural patterns as far as wave energy is concerned and so fully expected.</p>
<p>Here is where the whole experiment takes on an entirely different direction. When electrons are sent through the two cuts in the plate, what should ordinarily result are two lines in the wall opposite. On the contrary what one sees is a stripped appearance with an intersecting pattern. This is unbelievable. The matter seems to have been turned into a wave. We can perhaps imagine that electrons were hitting against each other and ricocheting and causing a wave pattern; so if electrons are sent across separately the result should be different. But it is not, it is the same. The explanation has to be that the electron leaves as a single particle, and splits into a wave on collision with the plate, then goes across through the cuts and intervenes with itself after that on the other side. This idea of solid having fluid properties -or mattering acting like a wave &#8211; is totally surprising. The world is much more than we understand it to be.</p>
<p>Though the overall properties of the world appear to be solid in nature, it does seem that it has enough of properties of a liquid as well &#8211; flux or liquid energy, which behaves like fluids in the physical world. The laws of physics clearly state that liquids that are alike in nature are attracted towards each others, while those which are unlike each other has a tendency to segregate and form its own group. The ineffective combining of water and oil is an example of this. Chromatography shows clearly the dispersion in clear bands of one substance into the many substances of which it is made of, just like larger collections of human beings split into smaller groups of people sharing common passions, strengths and interests.</p>
<p>The secret of it all is that when we give we feel delighted and know utmost joy. As a donor we get the best of gifts, which is the gift of contentment. Often we think that it is the one who gets a gift that gets the thing and thus overlook the fact that the giver is the real getter. If anybody is in doubt about this equation, then look at yourself with kids around and observe how intently you feel when you give to them and how much you enjoy irrespective of how they respond.</p>
<p>When we appreciate that we are actually giving to ourselves when we give and that we do this because we want to feel satisfied then we have an answer. This answer unlocks the door of cognizance to giving. And when we give again and again the impetus builds up just like a swelling wave that grows larger the more we put in to it with our idea of our bountifulness.</p>
<p>The reality that we feel contented when we give someone something modify our perspective literally &#8211; we feel empowered and on that instant we appear more beautiful to others. There may be peddlers on the street offering napkins or other sundry things that one is not in need of, but one day you may buy it just to see that smile lighting up the face of the peddler in relief and thankfulness. It is the same satisfaction one gets by responding to a street musician.</p>
<p>A happy person exudes a natural warmth that attracts others to him and in doing so he becomes rich in life&#8217;s lessons. It is so easy. They draw to them those who have never known that sensation and so want to feel it, or even those who have fully known the pleasures of that feeling.</p>
<p>So just like water and oil, givers and non-givers gather in separate areas. And the best place to receive something is in a place where givers hang out! But of course you can only stay in the giving group while you give! Givers love to give to those who give.</p>
<p>We may be able to look at quantum physics for resolving things, but these are very much in front of us all the time. Alike attracts alike &#8211; right. See what is going on all over the world. Lions like to be with lions, students like to be with students, women prefer the company of women, guys like other guys, &#8216;poor&#8217; people prefer to be with &#8216;poor&#8217; people and &#8216;rich&#8217; people like to form groups with &#8216;rich&#8217; people. And yes &#8211; givers like to make friends with givers.</p>
<p>So if you give from a sense of self-reproach then it will only boomerang on you &#8211; you will just attract to you like-minded others who have a guilt complex and cannot be contented and delighted. The borderline between remorse and anger is narrow; so people gifting things out of a sense of guilt tend to turn in that direction. Joy is one of the highest of human emotions &#8211; and from there one can only turn to love &#8211; and that is what all of us are forever searching for.</p>
<p>So when you start giving you are two steps away from love &#8211; pretty amazing to think that isn&#8217;t it. Especially seeing most people are desperately seeking love. Now we know the answer is simple &#8211; go get giving! And of course giving money is just a small part of giving &#8211; giving in general will create a space of joy for us, no matter how &#8217;small&#8217;.</p>
<p>There is also a psychological aspect to giving regularly. Even though at first this aspect doesn&#8217;t seem connected to the emotion of joy &#8211; in the end it directly connects us to the feeling of joy.</p>
<p>When we gift a thing &#8211; especially a thing which is definitely not in surplus in our lives, we are sending a strong message to ourselves that life is reliable. When we have accomplished the act of giving and afterwards see that act in retrospect we understand that we can form a perfect relationship with that reliability. The opposite of reliability is fright. A group of frightened people are unlikely to be happy and delighted and so will not be able to attract any one. On the contrary, a group of reliable people would be contented and so would be quite appealing to those who are seeking such enriching experiences. At the end of the day, when reliability gets transformed into delight and again we find ourselves very close to that which we yearn most &#8211; love.</p>
<p>So the gist of what has been overlooked for years is right in front of us for any one to build a relationship with it with ease. My son got a lot of cash for Christmas and I enquired how he was going to spend it. He said he was going to put aside much of it. I asked him how much he would like to share. He had not even thought of it as a possibility until I gave the idea to him. What is likely to happen if our first response to getting something was to give something away &#8211; is it likely that we will know more of happiness?</p>

<p>This takes us to the force of transactional giving. Many enterprises give when they have enough of money to give. When they do not have much they do not prefer to give. Whenever I hit my 20s, I thought that I was pretty much in the clear but as it turns out, they were waiting on the inside of me and they begin to show themselves during that time.</p>
<p>Whenever I first experienced an anxiety attack, it hit me a bit unexpectedly. The feelings that washed over me whenever I have the anxiety were so unusual that I didn&#8217;t recognize them as being an anxiety attack at first. It started as a classic pain in my chest, almost as if I was having a heart attack or feeling as though I had severe heartburn. It took a few hours for the anxiety to calm down and during that time, I suffered from everything from cold sweats to a feeling as if I was going to lose control.</p>
<p>The thought that I was going to suffer from panic attacks had always been in the back of my mind but it still took me by surprise whenever I felt the sensations. The unfortunate thing is, not being able to recognize it immediately left me in a rather precarious situation. You probably understand exactly what I&#8217;m talking about, as anxiety attacks are certainly something that none of us are used to whenever we first began experiencing them. We may feel as if we have a very serious health problem but if we are able to get beyond these feelings we may be able to deal with the panic successfully.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, the vast majority of people who suffer from anxiety regularly think that the only way for them to be able to correct the problem is to fight their way through the middle of each and every attack that they experience. The opposite is often the case and the only thing that it accomplishes if they fight their way through the attack is that they tire themselves out and are unable to face the next attack that comes their way. Experiencing panic attacks yourselves, you have probably felt this way many times.</p>
<p>If you would like to know a little secret that can help you overcome these anxiety attacks much quicker, it would be to simply allow the anxiety to go underneath you instead of trying to fight your way directly through the middle of it. Think of yourself as if you were riding on top of a wave of the ocean. There&#8217;s no way that you would be able to fight the wave, the only thing that you could possibly do is stay on top and allow it to do its work. This is exactly what I started to do with my anxiety attacks.</p>
<p>This turned out to be one of the better things I&#8217;ve ever done as far as my anxiety attacks were concerned. They lasted a much shorter amount of time and I even begin to notice that they were occurring less frequently.
