The reason environmentalists are never taken seriously is that you think the planet has some kind of significance beyond what humankind gives it.
It’s a partially molten rock with life on it; the only reason to stop polluting it is because we have to live on it.
Edit: I should die when I turn 60, assuming I keep the exact same habits i do right now, which I won’t.

seriously i don’t get how everyone is like save the planet! save the planet! the world isn’t gonna stop or implode cuz of global warming. global warming will kill humans. and other ish. not the earth. just because of GW the earth isn’t going to die or end!! and since it’s already started, we can’t stop it! people will never stop driving cars and so on. the ozone will continue to deplete……and global warming won’t be stopped. it’s annoying how everyone has their panties in a bunch thinking that GW is actually going to end the earth. riiiiiiiiiiiight.

I agree with one thing. Humanity dying out will be the best thing that happens to the universe, and to ourselves. But we should do it naturally.

They say god provides, yet it is from the Mother they take.
They say were going to heaven yet the road to hell is paved with good intentions. And it’s funny cause heaven became hell once we were born.
Before the earth dies well will overpopulate. Within 15 years our population will double. Our resources will be eliminated and our food source will be cut to less than half (more people mean less farm land and twice the construction sights and resources which means less plants to produce oxygen). We don’t need to worry about the planet dying cause we will have each other to worry about.
