I was just offered another full-time position in the office where the big boss expects me to initiate a pretty big project. This will entail being out of the office quite a bit. At the time of the offer, I was working a customer service computer system, which answers inquiries with a deadline and the intake is fast. I wouldn’t have had any problem with continuing doing this except I cannot do both. My co-workers would also not help me. In fact, I felt that this whole thing was totally ignored and I became extremely stressed out. So stressed out in fact, that I was out of work very ill for two days last week. Then, I approached my boss and advised him that I would need help on this (which I had told him before). He told my co-workers that they would have to divide the queries coming in between themselves. They all got angry and I’m shocked that none of them wanted to help me; . What should I do? They took all of the joy out of me getting this position. Are they jealous??
