Kabbalah, Science and the Perception of Reality

www.laitman.com – Rav Michael Laitman, PhD uses an example from the film “What the Bleep Do We Know?!” to illustrate a key difference in Kabbalah’s approach to defining our perception, and meets with the film’s scientists to discuss Kabbalah.

  1. THANK YOU FOR THIS AMAZING KNOWLEDGE! LIFE-CHANGING TO SAY THE LEAST! INFINITE LOVE TO YOU ALL AT ARIFilms!

  2. He does mean that literally the native would not see the ship. It is a true story of when the Spanish first landed in South America. The natives could not see the ships till it was explained to them was was in the sea. It wasnt that they saw strange things, it was that they saw nothing. Cant say it wouldnt happen that way because it did happen that way.

  3. kabbalah is not jewie.. it was there before the jews.. and according to its history.. it is quite evil.

  4. Reality seems to be what we make it to be. Much like a drug trip. If its good, its good. if its bad, then we know it and feel it at the same exact time.

  5. quantum physicists usually refer to the Yin and the Yang to illustrate their theories…

  6. You watch Zeitgeist and then bring those facts to a forum.. Nice..

Good day to all of my fellow Christians, firstly my apology for being out of topic. I came here to remind you people that the judgment day has started already. Please depart from cursing, smoking, violent entertainment, fornication, occultism, and for watching pornography etc. lest you be found not worthy to enter the kingdom of God in the Day of Execution. Thank you for your kind consideration.

I think most of you who are criticizing this are missing the point. I may be wrong, but it seems that the whole Indian and Caveman analogy is meant to reflect the notion that we only perceive things because our senses (the vehicles) allow us to. I don’t think he literally means that a native wouldn’t see a ship that first time. I find it humorous that many of you think this is a cult trying to get cash when its been around for so long and has opened up a lot of minds.

  9. Sorry but there are documented facts of small native groups who had never seen a helicopter or a walkie talkie who thought these pilots were gods or extra-terrestrials from another planet.

  10. yeah that’s the obvious error in this theory. I belive they haven’t really understood the world neither and just like other stubborn people (most of us) they keep trying to prove their theory instead of looking for the total truth.

  11. I guess cockamamie was already taken.

You have seen UFO’s before on tv and movies thats why your mind put it together.

This is good news about your eternal soul. You can live forever.

All who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will receive salvation and everlasting life. According to God, we are all sinners and can not do anything to save ourselves. But because He loves us, God sent the Messiah, His only Son Jesus Christ to DIE for us. He was buried, but after 3 days, God raised Him up from the dead, and He now reigns as King. Whoever believes will be saved. It is a gift of love from God.

i used to believe this sort of stuff .. oh dear. It works in that you cant understand a new technology straight away .. it takes a while to understand what it is and how it works. But a bash on the head is a bash on the head even if you don’t believe in hammers.

  15. this doesnt make sence, b/c you never seen it, you dont see it? the indians did see the ship… same way a caveman would see modern buildings… someone please explain what he means by them “not” seeing it

  16. “LOL, Kabbalah is Scientology with a Jewy center!!!!”

    Good one! I completely agree!

  17. Weezzuul

so according the this video, a baby fresh out of the womb won’t be affected by a bullet to the back of the head

  18. Please, less music and more sense.

What a pile of b/s video.

  19. “Can a caveman pass through this wall? yes he can”. (because he has no notion of the concept of a wall) Poop it is. I’d like to bang this rabbi’s head with my heavy gnoereth, only to find out if he’s right that he cannot feel it because he has no notion of the concept of a gnoereth.

  20. Timebandit720

Saying that the Indian can’t see the ship because it isnt produced by his imagination is bullshit. I saw a UFO once – something I’ve never seen before but it was there, whatever it was. Tired of all this psychobabble. If we could only see things we were accustiomed to seeing, then if you took an Eskimo to the desert, he wouldn;t see anything?! Absolute poop.

  21. I’m sorry, I just don’t get it. The scientific explanation I have seen of quantum physics doesn’t support this hogwash. This is just another cult trying to get more cash and stupid followers aka more stupid hollywood types to give them money…..

  22. oh yeah, so what happens when sombody realizes that the entire world is full of etherial walls, do we suddenly all become killed by the mass???

  23. gohighproductions

minds are made of matter if the matter exsist then so does cognition!!..

  25. perhaps, the Indian’s eyes can’t see the ship,
but his ass better be able to see it….
