    depression can be treated by meds,ocd don’t think their is a drug for it,try exercise

    Just about any mental disorder can be treated with medication. Talk therapy is probably better than yoga but yoga sure can’t hurt.

    I believe they do have meds and thought changes body chemistry. The problem today is that people don’t use both sides of the brain equally, using the right brain 40 percent less. Intuition connect us with the right hemisphere and builds it up, as do positive words and meditation. Tests on monks show a balance on both sides of their brains. You are going the right way. Listening to our intuition connects better with the poor under exercised right brain, grows new neurons and makes more and better connections. We are redeemable. Some of it is quick and some takes more time. It is a new lifestyle for the century.

    Yoga & meditation are all very good for all sorts of abnormal mental states, this has been proved time and time again and is now a given.
    I have a CD on beginners meditation, it will not hurt you to try something along the same lines, you will not get much out of it at first but keep on with it. As for yoga, a good teacher is a must, you could do worse than sign up for a class. Take care.
