Are you looking forward to December 21, 2012?
Either to laugh at everyone who believed it’s the end of the world and were wrong or because we’ll supposedly reach enlightenment? I personally am hoping for some kind of change because I don’t really like how the world is right now… I fear my future more than this date because I have no clue what career to get into or what college to apply for, I’m actually looking forward to it just to see what happens

sure, i am looking forward to it its 4 days before christmas
that’s kinda freaky, cuz ill graduate from high school 2012, so ill probobly be looking into or in college then. If I go to a party school, which are pretty common where i live, that month is going to be CRAZY!! It would be kind of cool if something changed, as long as it isn’t the apocalypse thing it’s supposed to be.

Every generation, and I mean EVERY generation has (and some fall for) some kind of doomsday scenario. Then the projected date comes and passes with a whimper or less. Pass this on to each generation coming after you… if it is going to happen at all, it will. If it doesn’t you live on. If it does, some or all (which is unlikely) die… can any of us change it?!!… so why worry about something that has not happened?… because someone said to? Focus on your college choices… that will gain you more than worrying about 2012. And when 2012 comes and goes you will be better prepared for 2013 and beyond.
it’s good to scare people sometimes, to make them realize that life doesn’t last as long as they think it will.
it’s a GREAT wake up call to people like Mr.Bush and millions of people in this world to start THINKING right. even though that nothing will happen on that day. only a new era will start.
The wine I laid up should be ready to drink about that date, so yes I’m looking forward to it.
people are going way overboard with this 12-21-12. all this is is an end to a very long calendar which the mayans referred to as the “great year”. make a “new great year resolution”.
what will happen that day? it is the first day of winter or summer depending on your hemisphere. the earth will start its 26,000 year processional wobble over again. there is also a planetary alignment that has not happened in 56,000 years or so. what does this mean for us on earth, especially westernized folks? nothing, probably. what the mayans saw this day as was the beginning of the shift in the balance of consciousness for humanity. the scales finally being tipped towards a new way of thinking.
some people believe that there will be cataclysmic geographical changes, but in all likelihood, it will be a day like any other, unless you make it something different.
Nobody really knows when the world is gonna end. Not even Grandma, not even jesus, not even St. Peter! Only God knows… Teenagers these days are very afraid of their future and how they are gonna look like in the future. Besides maybe, just maybe… God will give us a chance and make our whole existence go longer or we might not even reap(if we are that lucky).
The Mayans predicted that 12/21/2012 will bring great change, not doomsday. I hope on that day we make contact with intelligent life on other planets who never heard of God, Zeus, Jehovah, Allah, Vishnu, Krishna, etc, etc.
No, I don’t let calender dates determine anything in my life. I am already enlightened & a day isn’t going to change anything. We change by the way we live in the present moment.
