Any experts on Enlightenment and 2012?
My Husband who is not a religious person, was not on drugs, came to me last night and it was so random but he was talking about enligtenment and 2012 and a bunch of randomness and Im trying to understand his views and what he believes it just freaking me out he started crying a man that never cries!!! He was basically saying that were going to another place not heaven but another world and everyone is going to be happy and loved and at peace. Can anyone shine some light on what he was talking about??
Oh please no rude comments!! He’s not crazy he just strongly believes in something that is hard to explain.

well that could happen. ive learned that way too. that there will be a new earth and heaven no more hell…etc. in all reality no one knows. and 2012 supposedly the world will end, or come close to depending on what we do about it,an asteroid is to hit earth. but then again no one knows what will happen then.
Sounds to me like he is letting his imagination run away with him. I would hesitate to say he may be influenced by demonic activity not knowing him. I hope he is not dabbling in the occult or these new age books.
As for the theory going round that the world is going to end in 2012, you might want to take into account that the mayans whose calender this is based on, gave their children to the fire as a human sacrifice among other primitive beliefs.
Tell him to start calling on the name of Jesus to show him the truth and stop this new age babbling because that is what it sounds like to me.
wow, i’m not sure what to say to help your current situation. I don’t think its bad or good; its just neatural is spirtual.
Maybe you guys should go to talk to a holy leader in your community? They might give answers
Nothing is going to happen in 2012, although plenty of charlatans have lots of predictions. There is no reason to believe any of it.
Sounds to me like he had some kind of breakdown. This sometimes happens to people, but they usually recover. Good luck.
its not a bad thing it happened to me i am only 15, it is called realization he now believes that there is no god or Divine being but we all reach heaven in our own way and own time in fact i would not be surprised if he became Buddhist it happened to me after i broke down emotionally and mentally this is the knowledge he gained from a tuff time. i would be care full though because his mind will now be weak and will be open to strange things such as the 2012 prophecies, so try to keep him away until he has recovered
THE BIBLE does not point to any specific date that any humans would have.
But it does refer to special “time periods”– over the 6000 yrs. of human history! Christ pointed a special time for the future where he stated a time of great distress, our time!
(Matthew 24:7-8) “7 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.”

This actually is in line for the plea we make “……thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth is in heave……..”Matthew 6:9
So then there are indeed blessings to come from the “Kingdom”
