2012 Mayan Prophecy – The End Of Mankind

The biggest prophecy debate will likely to happen soon as all the major prophecies such as Mayan 2012 Prophecy, The Chinese Four Pillar Chart and Nostradamus overdue apocalypse prediction are pointing to the same date and year, December 21, 2012

Whilst it is worth giving some thought to the prophecy, we need to be careful not only to consider the hysterical arguments. The 2012 Mayan prophecy calendar is amongst many “end of the world” dates which have either already passed or are still to come. Recently noted dates were Nostradamus’ prediction for the year 2000 and 2003’s Hindu avatar Krishna’s arrival.

Major events loom in the next few centuries, including the events of 2012, the planetary alignment of 2040, the end of the Muslim calendar in 2076, and the end of the Jewish calendar in 2240.

Scientists and mystics both believe that there is something special about 2012. Many otherwise unrelated events synchronize in that year. According to the Mayans, the sun will pass through the center of the galaxy, also translated as the place of the dead and a place of transformation. Sunspot activity is expected to be very high at that time. However, many others believe that this is simply one cycle among many and that a new cycle will begin with little fanfare.

Whether or not the Mayan prophecy for the year 2012 remains to be seen. However, one must appreciate the events that have coincided with Mayan predictions over the years but many people hope and pray that December 21, 2012 will pass without any incidents occurring.
